Wrap Around

I'm back in Jersey but the outfits from Cali are still coming!  I definitely have summer on my mind right now. I wore this to a fun event out there.  You might have seen a few photos from my instagram :)

Skirt: Furor Moda (here) c/o / Top: LUSH via Nordstrom Rack (also love)
Shoes: Zara (similar) / Bag: olivia + joy (here)

This is a wrap around skirt and I haven't worn one in such a long time.  I tied the bow in the back and then pinned it to the skirt so that it would stay tied.  Otherwise, if the bow came undone then that could have left me in a really awkward and embarrassing situation haha It's so cute though I love it.  And red is such a fun color to style.  I found this top a few days before my trip.  I almost didn't get it but I'm happy that I did because it worked perfectly with this skirt.  It's actually a crop top but it was long enough on me that I could tuck it inside.  I love the floral print because it has a vintage feel.

As you can see in my recent posts, these shoes really came in handy out there.   It's a good thing I didn't pack more than I did because my suitcase was way overweight!  My dad used to always tell me to back "bare essentials only" and I think of that every time I travel.  I always end up packing up half my closet though lol

Enjoy the day loves!

Merci Beaucoup

Happy Tuesday lovelies! It's time for a little bit of neon.

Crop Top: Forever21 (here) / Bralette: Forever21 (also love)
Jeans: Forever21(here) / Shoes: Zara (here) / Clutch: Galian

I picked up these pieces before heading out to LA.  It's hard for me to find denim that fit me well so I usually end up getting them at places like F21 and H&M.  #petitegirlprobs! I thought this neon crop tank was super cute and I love the "Merci Beaucoup" written on it.  The best way to wear tops like this is with a bralette underneath so you don't have to see your regular bra on the sides.  This one has a lace trimming on the top which adds a little something extra to the look.  The studded clutch also brings a bit of edginess too.  I wore this for a night out over here but it's another outfit that would also work well for the day with flats!  It's casual but still fun :)

I head back to Jersey tomorrow, so sad, but I still have a bunch of outfits to share.  It's been a great two weeks out here and I can't wait to come back.
Hope you have a fab day!

Cali Casual Cool

Happy Monday babes!
I'm still over here in Cali and wore this last week.  It felt great being able to wear shorts again!

Shorts: Vanilla Star c/o / Tank: Forever21(here) / Cardigan: Charlotte Russe (similar)
Shoes: Zara (also love) / Sunglasses: ZeroUV (similar) c/o / Bag: olivia + joy

Pairing long cardigans with denim shorts is one of my favorite things to do for the spring and summer seasons.  I just love the whole casual cool and laid back vibe that this look gives off.  I wore something similar last summer that you might remember.  If you don't have an oversized/long cardi then I highly suggest getting one.  They're such a great staple and are extremely versatile.  Plus, they keep you warm on those breezy days and are super easy to add to your outfits.  I packed this one last minute and I'm so happy that I did.  It was the perfect pop of color for this look.  You could even wear something like this with flats for the day and then transition it into the night with a pair of heels like me.  I'm all about distressed denim right now and these shorts are super cute with the side lace detailing.  They're the perfect mix of girly & edgy.  The finishing touch was this pair of gold mirrored sunnies.  I'm still loving this trend, especially in gold!

I hope that you all have a beautiful day :)

Matching Set

Yay for Friday!  I wore this a few days ago to Victoria Gardens out here in Racho Cucamonga.  It's a beautiful outside shopping center.  I took photos here last year too.  I am now staying until next week and I don't want to leave!

Crop Top & Skirt: Dana Maxx / Shoes: Steve Madden (similar)
Sunglasses: Rivet & Sway / Necklace: Wild Butterfly
Ring: Capwell (here)

My obsession with crop tops and full midi skirts continues with this beautiful two-piece set from from Dana Maxx.  I stopped by their showroom before my trip and borrowed this, although I wish I could keep it!  I love the crochet detailing and the fact that it's a matching set.  I've been wanting one for such a long time so I was really looking forward to wearing this out here in Cali.  I sort of broke my own rule by wearing ankle strap heels with this length, but since the straps are not thick and the shoes are such a light color, I decided to just go for it.  I guess that's why they say to "never say never!"
I wanted to keep this outfit all neutral for the most part and then added my new favorite green ring and a bright pink lip for some color.  I love the messy side braid and need to start doing my hair this way more often.  It's perfect for such warm days.

On the last two photos, I was in mid spin and thankfully this skirt has a slip underneath lol! I thought they were really cool motion shots so decided to include them.  I have a thing for twirling!  I have so many candid and silly shots that I need to start posting on here more.

Happy weekend loves!

Pastels & Palm Trees

Happy Thursday babes!
I wore this dress a few nights ago in Rancho for dinner and shot in their Central Park.  I love having the palm trees in the background.  The scenery here is perfection!

Dress: Catch Bliss (here) c/o / Shoes: Zara (similar) / Clutch: Dynamite
Bracelet (here) & Ring (here): Capwell / Earrings: OASAP

I've been taking full advantage of this cali weather and wearing tons of dresses and skirts.  The style of this one is so cute and girly.  I like how it flares out a little at the bottom and of course, the adorable bow detailing in the back!  It's always fun when the back of a dress makes just as much of a statement as the front.  I went with nude heels since it was for night time, but it would also look super cute during the day with a pair of flat sandals.  Versatile dresses during the spring/summer are the best.
I wanted to keep this look simple, but did some subtle color blocking with a coral/pink statement bracelet.  I also added this gorgeous green opal ring and finished it all off with a gold clutch.  I love pastels for spring.

Enjoy your day loves!

Little Pink Dress

I wore this to the Lucky FABB brunch on Saturday.  It was absolutely gorgeous outside and the perfect opportunity to wear this hot pink dress.  I can't even tell you how great it's felt to be able to wear things like this again!  I missed 80 degree weather.

Photos: Hadasa

Dress: Diana Warner c/o / Shoes: Zara (similar style
Bag: olivia + joy (here) / Necklace & Bracelet: Capwell

I did a really fun spring lookbook shoot with Diana Warner and this was one of the dresses they had me wear.  I'll be sharing some of those pics soon by the way!  I thought this was the perfect dress for brunch since it's so vibrant.  It works for day and night, which I love.  I decided to style it with these new Zara shoes that I got the day before my trip.  Since they go with everything, they were a great pair to bring to LA.  I got them in black too.  I did my best to only pack a few pairs.  I'm sure you all know how hard that is lol

One of the coolest parts about the brunch was that they gave some recognition to the New Voices Of Beauty.  They gave us a little section outside with our photos and also played our video campaign.  If you've been following me on instagram, then you probably saw my posts from the brunch. It was great being able to meet so many amazing girls and of course doing it in LA!  That's always my favorite part about these types of conferences and events.  I might be extending my stay over here a little bit longer.  Can't wait to share a bunch of new outfit posts with you all!

Have a lovely day!
